Some friendships come for a season or a lifetime. Sometimes, you realise

you were the magic glue that held friendships together. An older version of you could have played this role, but as you evolve with seasons, you realise that — you may no longer have the energy to give to specific people, which is ok.

What happens when you don’t care anymore? It’s a dangerous place to be. Should you give a f***? My perspective is no because these fucks are reserved for people who provide consistency and stability and radiate sunshine but also does the inner work around what they bring to friendships & relationships with you and, more importantly — prioritise the inner work consciously.

They say there are two types of people in this life. Radiators & Drains.

Those who give and those who take. Those who are in secret competition with you and you didn’t even know. Those who watch you closely but don’t support but ask for support? Those who may need help understanding the Law Of Equivalent Exchange or don’t fully understand the fundamentals of reciprocity within relationships. Those that it shouldn’t be explained to even though these are the fundamentals of why their relationships break down constantly, and as the friend that may have to watch repeatedly while this loops around. At the same time, they take energy from you and, most of the time, unconsciously.

If your relationships don’t fully support you and your kindness, has been used as a dumping ground for access to your energy from people who may only tune in when they need something — a morale boost. These people ask for your time, but when you offer it, it is ignored. People who want an opinion but don’t take and we have to loop over it for another year, people who are just out and out nosey around your business & your money, and those who don’t understand how rare it is even to have your number or direct access to you.

It may be time to leave. No drama, no anything — just go. The Aries in you won’t have time to explain to people how to treat you, value you, or love you because the reality is. Most people don’t love themselves, and that’s ok too. You can love people from afar.

Aries season is always a lesson in independence and self-protection.

You outgrow people. Their drama, BS, and unwillingness to change or evolve and their 1000 questions about your life that comes with unsolicited opinions about what they would do but haven’t come close to living one day in your shoes. It may need to go.

Aries represents boundaries and truth.

I love you, but I love me more, and you didn’t meet the criteria.

Unfortunately, what you bring aligns differently with the new life I’m trying to build.
